Our Story

Lolli Smocks was built from a simple dream: creating a life centered around family, childhood, and the moments that matter most.

The story began in 2020 when founder Katelyn Ozier was preparing to welcome her first daughter while working as a senior-level accountant for a large pharmaceutical manufacturer. Facing a demanding career and a three-hour daily commute, she knew she wanted a different path—one that allowed her to be present for the little moments that make childhood so special.

After leaving her corporate career, she started a small home-based business creating custom apparel and gifts. What began with a Cricut machine, a sublimation printer, and a leap of faith quickly grew into something far bigger than expected.In 2022, that journey led to the world of smocked, embroidered, and appliqué children’s clothing.

Inspired by dressing her own daughter and creating pieces she couldn’t find elsewhere, Katelyn began designing original children’s outfits that blended classic Southern traditions with whimsical childhood magic. What started as a passion project soon became Southern Saint Smocks, which later evolved into Lolli Smocks.

As her family grew, so did the vision behind the brand. The arrival of a second daughter deepened a love for matching sibling sets, heirloom-inspired styles, holiday traditions, and the kind of timeless children’s clothing that becomes part of family memories and treasured photographs for years to come.

Today, every Lolli Smocks design is created with the same goal:

To celebrate childhood.

Whether it’s a first trip to Disney, a birthday party, a holiday tradition, a family vacation, a first day of school, or simply an ordinary day made special, we believe children’s clothing should help tell the story of childhood’s sweetest moments.

Based in North Alabama with roots in Tennessee, Lolli Smocks remains proudly family owned and family operated. What began as a mother’s dream of staying home with her daughter has grown into a brand trusted by families across the country who value timeless style, quality craftsmanship, and the magic of childhood.

Meet The Owner

Behind every Lolli Smocks design is Katelyn Ozier — a wife, mother, entrepreneur, and lifelong believer in making childhood magical.

As a mom to two little girls (with baby brother on the way), Katelyn draws inspiration from the moments that make childhood unforgettable: holiday traditions, family vacations, matching siblings, birthday celebrations, church Sundays, and everyday adventures.

Many of the designs you see at Lolli Smocks began as ideas created for her own children before finding their way into the closets of families across the country.

When she’s not designing new collections, you’ll find her sharing motherhood, family life, and magical childhood inspiration as “Kozie Kate” on socials, always searching for new ways to make childhood feel a little more special.
